GW Guild Wars Macros
Macros are tiny programs used by some players in order to advance their character without actually playing. Essentially an AI system which takes control of your character when you want it to (usually as you are sleeping), the AI will pursue a path which has been created by the programmer and do it repeatedly and hence gather equipment and experience. Depending on the macro and game in question, some of these little programs were created with the purpose of leveling or gathering weapons (in hope of finding some very good loot) and relatively simple, yet efficient at what they do (healing when hurt beyond a certain %, running away if near death, going straight for the more productive creatures etc).
Macros by 3rd party programs are available for Guild Wars at Skryer only.
As it is, Guild Wars does not feature any macros and the gameplay style typically does not warrant the creation of any as there is no so called ‘grind’, leveling is rather simple and fast paced and does not require gamers to play days on end in order to advance. Even then, advancement is not necessarily all that important; a low level character can beat a high level character if correctly used.
